Use, cleaning, maintenance and storage of nylon equipment
Use of equipment
Use the products only as intended. For example, don't tow a car with backpack straps or pack unprotected edged weapons in your backpack. Equipment likes to be used as it should be used.
Cleaning the equipment
The equipment can be washed either by hand or in the machine with the most delicate program at a low temperature.
Hand wash nylon equipment
-
Empty all excess items from the backpack or equipment pockets and remove all removable straps and straps separately for washing.
-
Shake or vacuum all excess sand and other loose debris that has accumulated inside.
-
Pre-treat the worst stains by wiping them with a rag with a mild washing-up liquid or a bleach-free stain remover.
-
Wash the product max. In 40-degree water with a mild detergent without bleach. A higher temperature damages and weakens the fabric, and strong detergents damage colors and water resistance.
-
Do not wash with other textiles, as nylon becomes colored and grays easily.
-
Wash removed thongs and straps separately.
-
Do not use bleach as it will damage and yellow the fabric.
-
Rinse the washed product with plenty of water to remove all detergent residues. Do not use fabric softener as it weakens the fabric.
-
The washed product is dried by wiping and patting it with a dry cloth and hanging it to dry in a well-ventilated space inside or outside open so that all parts/compartments can dry well. Do not wring dry because it damages the fabric fibers.
-
It must not be left to dry in direct sunlight because UV radiation damages the fabric and must not be dried in a tumble dryer because high temperatures damage the fabric and may damage zippers, belts and other parts.

-
Leave the zippers of the backpack or equipment pocket open so that washing can be done as efficiently as possible from the inside as well, and put the product in a laundry bag so that possible zippers do not damage your washing machine or the product itself.

Wash the product max. In 40-degree water with a mild detergent without bleaching agents, using the most gentle washing program. A higher temperature damages and weakens the fabric, and strong detergents damage colors and water resistance.

Washing NIR-compatible equipment
Most laundry detergents contain optical brighteners that make fabric colors appear brighter and white whiter, so avoid these detergents when washing NIR-protected equipment so that the fabric does not start to reflect its own times. Otherwise, wash the equipment in the same way as in the previous instructions.

Equipment maintenance and storage
Smaller stains can be wiped with a rag with a mild detergent solution if necessary.
Also remember to shake sand and other debris off the gear to avoid extra wear.
Make sure all fasteners, straps, cords and pockets are properly attached to avoid unraveling.
Store the equipment properly, do not store the equipment in direct sunlight, wrinkled or in a damp place.
