1. Customer

R.A.T. GEAR is an online shopping website maintained by Oy Air United International Ltd (Business ID: 3407337-1).

Consumers, companies and communities can be customers of the R.A.T. GEAR online store.

These terms and conditions apply to Oy Air United International Ltd / R.A.T. GEAR online store (hereinafter the "Company") in the business relationship between its consumer customers (hereinafter the "Customer"), which is subject to Finnish and EU legislation regarding consumer trade, marketing and advertising.

The company has the right to update these terms and conditions without prior notice. Orders are subject to the terms of the contract valid at the time of the order, which can be read on the Company's online store website.



2. Customer service and data protection

When ordering, the Customer fills in his complete contact information at the checkout of the online store when placing the order, or the Customer creates a customer account for ordering, where the Customer saves complete contact information. Name, address, phone number and email address are required from customers.

Customer information is stored in the Company's customer and marketing register, where the information is used to maintain the customer relationship. In addition, the Company and the companies belonging to the same group as it have the right to process and hand over the data in the register for justified purposes in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The Data Protection Statement according to the Data Protection Regulation can be seen here. The customer can check the information about himself through his customer account and, if he wishes, prohibit the use and processing of his data for marketing purposes.

The Company's online store pages are constantly monitored for data breaches and other abuses. Activities that violate the terms of the contract are immediately reported to the supervising authority. The Company has the right to cancel the transaction if the Customer has not acted in accordance with generally accepted operating procedures. In addition, the Company reserves the right not to sell the products for resale.

A product review request is also sent to the customer by e-mail after purchase. Responding to a review request is voluntary, and it only includes products already purchased by the Customer. The Company uses the information collected through reviews to develop the customer experience, product range and services. The Customer has the right to block the sending of review requests from the settings of his own customer account. The Company wants to offer its Customers the most accurate picture / accurate product reviews of the product so that we can serve our Customers as well as possible and keep our product selection as high-quality as possible. That's why we ask you to take a moment and answer the product review questionnaire as comprehensively as possible.



3. Product range

The Company sells to Customers products that are in our warehouse in Finland and products that are in the warehouse of our partners abroad. If the product is out of our warehouse and our partner's warehouse, the Customer will not be able to order it from our online store. In this case, the product is labeled "Sold out" and there is no possibility to order. However, if the product has been out of stock and the Customer has been able to order it through the online store, we will notify the Customer immediately and estimate when the product can be delivered to the Customer. We also try to add information to the product text because the product will be available next if we know it.

The Company is not responsible for damage caused by force majeure. A force majeure is an unforeseen circumstance or a change in circumstances that is beyond the Company's control. The Company will notify the Customer of a force majeure event without delay.

The Company can sell outlet products online and in its stores. Outlet products are mainly customer returns, sample pieces, equipment used in advertising, repaired or used. The condition class of the product as well as other features and terms of sale are defined in the sale information of the outlet product.

The Company reserves the right to limit the sale of certain products. The age limits of the products are observed in accordance with the law. Ordering K18 products requires the date of birth to be given to the Company and the necessary permits for parts of the products that require official permits to be submitted to the Company before the products are sold.

The customer chooses the payment method he/she wants at the checkout.



5. Delivery

The products are delivered by a selected transport service.

Basically, the products of a single order are delivered at once. If necessary, orders containing several products will be sent in several packages, so it is possible that all products will not arrive at the same time.

If not all of the products in the order can be delivered immediately, the Customer can request to split the order, in which case the missing products will be transferred to the new order. The delivery of a new order created as a result of splitting the order is subject to an additional charge. However, the company reserves the right to distribute orders unilaterally, in which case sending a new order is free of charge.

6. Pricing and payment methods

The prices shown in the online store include VAT, but do not include delivery costs, unless otherwise stated.

The company reserves the right to cancel an order if the product has been sold at a clearly incorrect price due to a pricing error, system failure or other similar error situation.

Prices are checked at the time of processing. If the price decreases, the prices are adjusted to the Customer's open order. If the price increases before the order is processed, the product is sold at the price at the time of order placement.

Current payment methods are displayed at the checkout of the R.A.T. GEAR online store when making a purchase. Other terms and conditions may also apply to credit payment methods, for example, regarding checking creditworthiness. More detailed descriptions of the credit and information about the credit provider are specified in the shopping cart as required by law.



7. Restitution

R.A.T. GEAR offers a 365-day right of return for the products it sells. We comply with the liability for defects in goods as defined in the Consumer Protection Act for all our products. However, a return notification for products purchased from an outlet must be submitted no later than 14 days. The customer can return the product/products via the transport company of their choice. The returned products must be carefully packaged.

Note! We do not grant free returns for our products. Any costs incurred from the return will be deducted from the amount to be returned. We also do not accept cash on delivery or other means of payment for shipments intended for the recipient. The customer is always responsible for the shipping costs of the products they return.

The customer is obliged to present a proof of purchase, receipt or other proof of the purchase transaction and time in connection with the return. In addition, the customer must carefully keep all documents related to the customer return until they have received notification of receipt of the return from the Company.

The customer is responsible for any decrease in value in accordance with the law if the product has been put into use. The customer must take care of the product and the accessories, instructions and product packaging supplied with it until they have decided to keep the product.

The company will return the payments received for returned products no later than 14 days after the returned products have been received. The refund will be made using the payment method used by the customer to pay for the order, unless another policy has been expressly agreed upon in connection with the return.

The limitations of the right to return are determined in accordance with applicable legislation. Pursuant to Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Consumer Protection Act.

8. Warranty

If the product has been separately granted a warranty by the product's seller or manufacturer, we will announce it separately on the product's website. A possible granted warranty does not limit the seller's fault liability as referred to in the Consumer Protection Act. The Customer must familiarize himself with the stated warranty conditions of the product before using the product. Any separately granted warranty period is also indicated on the purchase receipt. The general return conditions can be found on our website here, as well as any separately granted warranty on the product's online store page. Warranty repair subject to fault liability is always carried out in accordance with the conditions stated in the Consumer Protection Act. Faulty Outlet products will not be exchanged for a corresponding new product at a normal price.

Warranty repair / maintenance time estimate is approx. 30 days. Products delivered for repair/maintenance are stored for three months after the notice delivered to the Customer about the completion of the maintenance/work. The product is then recycled.

The Company is not responsible for damages caused by the Customer. Costs outside of fault liability/warranty and clearly unjustified repair/maintenance costs can be charged in full from the Customer.



9. Dispute Resolution

The parties strive to negotiate disagreements, but if no agreement is reached between the parties, the consumer-customer has the right to bring the disagreements arising from this agreement to the attention of consumer counseling or the dispute to be resolved by the consumer dispute board. The consumer also has the option of using the online dispute resolution forum maintained by the European Commission. These procedures are in writing.

Attorney fees are not reimbursed, because the consumer advisory and consumer dispute board offers free help in resolving disputes.

The Customer can file a lawsuit against the Company regarding disputes arising from the debt relationship of the contract either in the district court of Varsinais-Suomi or in the district court of his permanent residence. If the customer does not have a place of residence in Finland, disputes will be handled in the district court of the Company's domicile.
