Shortening the nylon strap
#1 Carefully measure the point on the strap where you want to shorten it
#2 Confirm the measurement once again (you can NOT get it back if you shorten it too much)
#3 Cut the strap to the desired length with scissors
#4 Quickly burn the cut end of the strap with a lighter to prevent unraveling (the nylon will melt and will not unravel after this)
#5 Let it cool for a while before using it
